Support and assistance on arrival and during the period of stay

At POLITO, the Foreign Citizens Services Unit (FCS) is in charge of providing all the foreign visitors with the necessary support for their stay in Italy, such as in finding housing, information and assistance for the visa and residence permit, support on fiscal code and health insurance, assistance in the family joining procedure and school enrolment for the children of international guests. Polito hosting facilities are a popular choice for foreign students where they can meet other students and establish friendships. The Incoming Unit assists students and scholars for any academic, administrative and logistic matter, including the management of scholarships awarded to international students.

Language courses on offer

The CLA (Language Centre), offers all POLITO International visitors Italian language courses. Intensive courses are organized at the beginning of each semester, while special courses can be planned throughout the whole academic year. The CLA offers also courses of English and other EU languages.
